Job description

This Account Manager role is predominantly B2B, suited for a dynamic, content-oriented strategist with boundless energy and fresh ideas. It requires a keen commercial perspective, a talent for storytelling, and a strong passion for writing. The primary focus will be on the automotive and tech client portfolio, with occasional support for the consumer content team.

Responsibilities:
  • Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Content Manager, Press Lead and PR Director to develop and execute client content strategies, editorial calendars, and content style, tone, and messaging.
  • Content Creation and Management: Lead the creation of various content assets (press releases, blogs, features, advertorials), ensure legal compliance, and maintain engaging client content aligned with KPIs.
  • Industry Engagement and Trends: Stay updated with content developments, industry trends, and client marketplace; generate new ideas and recommend appropriate content strategies and opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee KPI delivery, use tools like SPROUT and CISION for reporting, and ensure timely, budget-optimized positive results for clients, liaising regularly with client contacts.
  • Business Development Support: Participate in creative brainstorm sessions, attend industry events, support new business pitches, identify networking opportunities, and work closely with Account Directors on business development strategy.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in account manager or senior account executive roles, with media and influencer liaison experience.
  • High level of written proficiency, excellent verbal communication skills, and office-suite proficiency.
  • Initiative, energy, charisma, creativity, passion, and adaptability.
  • Experience in managing junior account executives, strong time and task management skills, and being a proactive problem-solver.
  • Comfortable with client-facing interactions and making data-driven decisions
