Designed to complement Money20/20’s global events, the platform aimed to provide structured insights into 67,000 startups, 25,000 investors, and hundreds of thousands of individuals worldwide.
Our goal was to create the largest dataset of fintech intelligence, offering structured insights into 67,000 startups, 25,000 investors, and hundreds of thousands of individuals globally.
The Challenge
The development of Twentyfold tackled key challenges in the fintech space, including the discovery of emerging startups in underrepresented regions, the structuring of raw data through a fintech-specific taxonomy, and the visualisation of ecosystems to reveal connections between people, businesses, investors, and markets.
The Solution
The project scope encompassed connecting to diverse data sources and ensuring data accuracy, designing an intuitive user interface for the intelligence platform, developing a fintech taxonomy for structured data navigation, and integrating knowledge graph functionality to visualise relationships within the fintech ecosystem.
The Impact
The project delivered significant outcomes, including year-round audience engagement for Money20/20 through Twentyfold, user-centric enhancements like a fintech taxonomy and AI-driven matching for improved usability, and a scalable platform designed to expand data sets and tap into the broader fintech ecosystem.
