Virgin Atlantic partnered with James Chase to modernise their desktop booking platform, aiming to deliver a seamless, future-ready customer journey. The project required overcoming prior setbacks, meeting high user expectations, and integrating complex systems for flights, luggage, upgrades, and transfers.

Virgin Atlantic faced significant challenges, including unreliable partnerships that stalled progress, the need to deliver a seamless booking experience without service disruptions, and the complexity of unifying various systems into a single, integrated platform.
The solution
We deployed a dedicated team of 15 engineers with expertise in front-end and back-end development, NDC product architecture, and enterprise API integration. Using technologies like ReactJS, NodeJS, Java, and .NET, the team modernised the desktop platform, developed APIs for integration with US-based systems, and redesigned the homepage to enhance the user experience.
The results
The collaboration successfully improved Virgin Atlantic’s booking experience, delivering enhanced usability and increased customer satisfaction. Implementation was achieved seamlessly, ensuring operational continuity, and the new systems positioned Virgin Atlantic for future digital transformation and innovation.
