We designed Aianna, an intelligent AI-powered co-host for Money20/20, revolutionising event interactions and creating seamless, personalised experiences for attendees.

Overview

Money20/20, a globally renowned fintech event, partnered with James Chase to develop Aianna, an AI-powered chatbot co-host.

 

Aianna was designed to enhance the attendee experience by delivering human-like, insightful conversations while co-hosting sessions alongside live presenters. The solution needed to blend professionalism, fintech expertise, and real-time responsiveness to elevate event interactivity.

 

The engagement focused on designing an AI-powered chatbot co-host for Money20/20’s renowned fintech event capable of delivering human-like, insightful conversations while co-hosting live event sessions.

The Challenge

Money20/20 faced the ambitious task of creating Aianna, an AI-powered chatbot co-host, to enhance the attendee experience at their globally recognised fintech event.

 

Aianna needed to embody a professional yet personable persona, capable of engaging audiences with human-like conversational abilities and deep fintech knowledge. The project had to be delivered within a tight timeline, ensuring seamless real-time performance, adaptability to varied queries, and integration with live Q&A and event infrastructure.

The Solution

We took an agile, collaborative approach to deliver Aianna on time. The process began with persona design, crafting Aianna’s fintech-savvy, engaging personality to match the “Human X Machine” theme.

 

Using a hybrid AI stack combining Hume’s conversational AI with GPT-4 and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), we ensured real-time data referencing and responsiveness.

 

Aianna was trained on event-specific materials, fine-tuned for latency management, and rigorously tested to guarantee natural interactions, context awareness, and smooth voice integration during live sessions.

The Impact

Aianna’s performance exceeded expectations, elevating the attendee experience through engaging, dynamic conversations and robust real-time responses.

 

Managing over 200 live interactions with 95% accuracy, Aianna became a highlight of the event, enhancing session interactivity and attendee satisfaction.

 

In addition, this AI framework offers scalability, enabling Money20/20 to set a new standard for innovation in fintech and event technology.
